Shoes in the Dryer
Our little G is all over the place these days practicing his walking skills. This toddler in the house has create quite a few funny finds including shoes in the dryer. We have also found parmesean cheese in the TV stand, a snack bowl on the book shelf and bouncy balls in the sock drawer.
We are absolutely loving this stage and the constant entertainment that he brings. Such an adventure!

From Stepping
to WALKING!
Yup! It's true. My baby walks! G, yes, our sweet G, he walks almost everywhere he goes. See...
Told Ya! Took him 13 1/2 months, but he figured it out. He's pretty darn good at it too. He can even stop to pick up a toy, walk and drink at the same time, and can change directions on a dime.
He can also get into things. Although, this is nothing new.
I figured if he was going to play with them he ought to know how to use them.
He might also need a hair cut, but that is still up for debate.

Does a Body Good
Milk.
G loves Milk.
He even loves to play with the empty carton.
As much as he loves milk sometimes he is just in the mood for a beer.

Grandmommy
G and I absolutely adore visiting my grandmother, know as Grandmommy to her grand kids and even the great grand kids. She most assuredly reciprocates our love for visits.
About a month ago Grandmommy moved and G has loved visiting her new place. He always finds himself the center of attention and has made lots of new friends. On our last visit we sat out in the courtyard and G was up to his usual antics.
Drive by kisses! One of my favorite parts of being with him all day is when he comes by while playing and leans in for a big kiss. Such a sweet boy! But this time Grandmommy was the recipient and I think she was pleased.
And then he was on to more peeking. Up and down, up and down, each time more pleased than the next.
There are few things that bring me greater joy than watching the pure delight on Grandmommy's face when she is with him.
Just one of the many gifts of parenthood!
And on a side note - Isn't my Grandmommy gorgeous? Here's to hoping we all age that well!

Short but Sweet
Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle E came in town last weekend for a short but oh so sweet visit. We spent most of our day together playing in the backyard with the new toys they brought for him.
While they were here..
G learned Grandpa's will do silly things to make their grandbaby smile.
He learned how to play with the boys... or maybe get left behind
He tried to teach Grandma that he is always on the move.
And showed grandpa how to sort shapes.
He even taught Uncle E that Scout is good for a snuggle.
G especially enjoyed the constant playmates and getting Grandma kisses. He keeps telling me that he hopes they come back soon!

Peekin'
I actually was scolded today for the extended blog absence. Wow! Somebody is reading all my babble. So with out further delay...
G LOVES
to chase and be chased
the anticipation of counting to three and the surprise at the end
and to peek!
He has been doing a lot of peekin' these days. He goes behind a wall, pillow, door, or tree to then peek out at me. This process of course cracks him up and must be repeated over and over.
