Childless Engineers

Here is a random thought... Now that I am a parent, I often think "The engineer behind (insert gadget here) must not have children.".



Example: The universal remote, or any remote for that matter
It has lots of bright attractive buttons, yet no lock feature. Yes, G almost ordered us up some new channels the other day. That one would have been fun to explain when the bill came. Seems all to close to the dog ate my homework excuse.


Maybe the remote engineer is in cahoots with the cable company. In that case, they probably do have children and it is a brilliant scheme!
